Donation Drive for Beyond Awesome

We've been a little quiet on our programming side but we're really excited to bring you an opportunity to serve the needs of the community - right here in Singapore! We have been brainstorming an awesome traveling program of sorts and this is where we need YOU!

We have at least 30 kids ranging from the ages of 7 to 14 who are unable to participate in a range of other learning activities available in their neighbourhood because they lack basic reading skills.

What these sessions will involve:
- Comic books and Picture book reading
- Story-telling
- Board-games
- Befriending and mentoring
- Homework help (only if they ask!)
- Fun interactive segments such as easy to do science experiments or something that can be acted out from a book in real life.

Here's where YOU come in. We need donations-in-kind to fuel our program and the following is a list of the items we need. Please check to see whether there is a specific quantity of the item requested below. If you have any questions, drop us a note in the comment section below and we'll be happy to help!

We have had some super awesome people come forward to say what they've already bought or prepared in the lead up to our donation drive on 17th October. So here's the updated list. We will update the main info on this event page, too! Items with 'REQUESTS FILLED' mean that there is no more need for people to donate on our donation day!

You can message us directly with the items you have and please note that any excess will be stored for future use OR will be distributed to our partner organizations in Singapore who are in need of such items.
